Mike Schlappi, four-time Olympic medal winner and two-time World Champion has proven that just because you can't stand up doesn't mean you can't stand out. He is the only wheel chair basketball player in the United States to compete in the past four Paralympic games in Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta, and Sydney. A national award winning video has been produced about Mike's life. He was honored by the state of Utah as one of its Top 50 athletes of the century.
Mike earned his Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University and a masters Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. As the President of Mike Schlappi Communications and a member of the National Speakers Association, his presentations have inspired thousands of audiences to adapt and overcome. He is an author who has written and published two books about success and motivation. Mike has a great sense of humor. He'll be to first to tell you he's flat broke and could borrow a few bucks until he gets back on his feet. Mike is a member of the Board of Trustees for the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City and NO! he did not accept any bribes.
